It’s embarrassing how little I know about Janis Joplin. I will probably always associate her with the 30 Rock episode where they legally can’t use her name so they call her “Jackie Jormp-Jomp.” (If you haven’t seen it, do yourself a favor and go watch it RIGHT NOW.) But in all seriousness she’s a legend, and this composition is so special.
